Pretty Purples and Glimmering Gold at Gabbinbar Homestead
Ellie and David’s wedding was held in the beautiful heritage listed Gabbinbar Homestead in Toowoomba. The styling was a fresh take on the modern vintage garden style by adding in a palette of rich purple tones and gold accents. The colour palette was used throughout the whole styling vision, from the differing shades of violet in the Bridesmaids gowns, fresh florals, ceremony and reception styling.
The Ceremony was staged in the beautiful open plan Pavilion with ambient lighting from the high cathedral ceiling and glimmering chandeliers. The stunning floral posts provided by our sister company Green and Bloom added an elegant and rich splash of colour to help set the stage for Ellie and David’s vows.
Our Prop It Pretty Gold Rimmed Tealight candles and Gold Dipped votives added a modern touch of luxury to offset the deep rich purple tones of the reception setting flowers and decor. The beautiful table flowers looked amazing cascading out of our Embossed Footed Bowls. The reception was set in the Conservatory at Gabbinbar and is known for it’s high glass ceilings, making you feel as though you were truly still in the glorious garden. Be inspired by the beautiful couple, the romantic florals and the captivating wedding venue, all images generously supplied by creative photographer Leah Cruikshank.
Thank you Ellie and David for letting our team at Prop It Pretty make your wedding that extra bit more magical.
